It’s been awhile since I’ve made any real updates to FanFanPro.
There was so much toxicity inside the @fantasy_top_ community that it really sucked the motivation out of me.
While I’m not confident that the team is going to be able to dig itself out of this mostly self-inflicted hole, there are 2 things I still find to be true:
1) The game is still fun to play
2) I still love to build
So here’s a small update I’ve just cooked up.
In FanFanPro, we’ve had the ability to track your live decks for sometime. But only by plotting your deck’s individual card scores. It’s a cool view, but it doesn’t really show how your deck has been doing overall compared to everyone else in the league.
Now, I’ve added a 'Deck Rank’ view, which plots your deck’s rank over the course of the tournament. On desktop, you can hover over the chart, and the tooltip shows you the scores for your deck and cards at any point in the tourney. (On mobile, you can use the slider)
This also makes it easier to identify which heroes are causing your deck ranking to rise or fall, which is something I’ve been wanting for a long time.
There are also ITE and ITM threshold indicators so you can see where your deck stands and what scores you need to reach each threshold.
You can view this chart from the Players deck page or from the Tourneys page which you can see in the video below.
Let me know what you think. Would you use this?
